The role
We currently have a need for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the team at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on a 12 month fixed term basis.
Working within the Pacific Fair Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for creatively delivering a social media and content strategy for this leading Gold Coast brand and working with fashion and retail brands.
This unique role works collaboratively with the team to deliver creative content across multi-channels in a strategic and effective way for the centre. The role is responsible for delivery of communications, publications and digital approach, whilst also driving asset performance through the effective delivery of sales and traffic driving campaigns and communications.
What you will be doing
- Delivering a digital communications strategy across all owned, earned and paid platforms including website, social, mobile, email, Wi-Fi, SEO/SEM, that positions the asset brand and experience above competitors and enables high levels of customer engagement and retailer support.
- Creating and delivering compelling content (in conjunction with partners) across all channels including in centre screens, website, eDM, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, using data insights and digital trends analysis to identify opportunities to drive channel growth and deliver on market share targets and ROI;
- Developing tailored digital marketing communication support plans for key retailer launches and actively contribute to the delivery of the retailer onboarding and engagement strategy and assist in the delivery of an in centre activation schedule and in centre experiences that support the asset strategy
- Developing deep understanding of customer and research tools i.e Quantium, NPS and Marketshare and champion the customer in all campaigns, initiatives and centre based projects
- Assisting in coordinating the monthly report, identifying key risks, opportunities or wins where marketing campaigns/ initiatives have driven positive changes in customer sentiment (NPS, sentiment, Marketshare etc)
- Supporting the Marketing Manager and Centre Manager to identify key centre issues and risks and developing marketing strategies and actions to combat these including assisting in the creation of retailer support programs
- Undertaking operational asset management responsibilities including all safety related training for emergency and crisis management to ensure competency as a Duty Manager and participating in the late-night, weekend and Christmas extended trade Duty Manager roster as required.
What makes you stand out
You will be a Marketing professional with a strong understanding of market segmentation in the FMCG, leisure or retail industry and experience in CRM systems, CMS, Social channels, Google Analytics, eDM and mobile marketing.
Your sound digital and social capabilities will drive the content strategies across these channels, maximise database acquisition and connect with offline experiences.
You will also need ability to prioritise tasks, develop timelines and deliver initiatives on time and within budget combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is a varied role would suit a creative thinker with the ability to interpret consumer research and digital analytics and assist in developing these into strategies, campaigns and actions and then critically assess, measure and report on the results.
