The role
GPT is currently requires the services of a Marketing Coordinator to join the team at MacArthur Square for a contract period of 12 months.
This role will assist the Marketing Manager, in the planning and executing a broad range of marketing activities that deliver memorable experiences for our customers, and measurable outcomes for our retailers, in line with the Centre marketing plan.
This role will have a key focus on the delivery of the digital strategy and retailer support and communications.
What you will be doing
- Delivering a digital communications strategy across all owned, earned and paid platforms including website, social, mobile, email, Wi-Fi, SEO/SEM, that positions the asset brand and experience above competitors and enables high levels of customer engagement and retailer support.
- Creating and delivering compelling content (in conjunction with agency and freelance partners) across all channels including in centre screens, website, eDM, Facebook and Instagram.
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of digital database acquisition strategies and achievement of digital targets.
- Working with Marketing Manager to understand key customer segments and develop campaigns to address key business opportunities
- Using data insights and digital trends analysis to identify opportunities to drive channel growth and deliver on market share targets and ROI and assisting with post-campaign analysis.
- Taking responsibility for co-ordinating retailer specific initiatives and joint promotions, as directed and acting as a primary point of contact for Retailers and managing all their requests in a timely and accurate fashion
- Assisting in the delivery of an in centre activation schedule and in centre experiences that support the asset strategy
What makes you stand out
You will need to have experience in a marketing or an events coordination role coupled with excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form and be able to effectively work autonomously.
You are comfortable taking ownership of assignments and have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and are able to build and manage stakeholder relationships.
You will have an understanding of digital marketing and associated software as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
This is a fast paced and hands-on role that will suit a marketing generalist with a passion for digital who thrives in a dynamic environment.
