The role
We are seeking a proactive Tenancy Delivery Manager to lead and streamline the tenancy delivery process at Macarthur Square.
In this role, you will work closely with our Leasing, Retail Design, and Centre Management Teams to ensure seamless tenancy transitions—maximising efficiency and enhancing our return on investment. From initial planning to project completion, you will play a key role in ensuring new fit-outs and refurbishments are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
What you will be doing
- Overseeing the tenancy delivery process, ensuring all required documentation, including building and planning permits, is obtained before any construction work begins.
- Conducting pre-construction meetings to ensure all stakeholders understand asset requirements, occupational health, safety & environmental (OHS&E) obligations, and relevant state and territory building approval processes.
- Managing and coordinating all lessor work contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to facilitate efficient tenancy delivery.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure tenants are aware of their obligations and providing necessary documentation for plan approvals.
- Preparing documentation for capital expenditure submissions related to tenancy delivery, including lease incentives, and contributing to the development of operational and capital expense budgets in alignment with financial targets.
- Leading, coordinating, and chairing weekly tenancy delivery meetings while driving sustainability initiatives as they relate to tenancy delivery and overall asset performance.
What makes you stand out
You will need to be tertiary qualified and have experience within a similar role or project management within the Property sector, coupled with a practical understanding of common law, contract law, the Trade Practices Act, retail leases and retail lease legislation.
You will have the ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines and to be able to coordinate with a range of subcontractors on site, combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
You will need strong analytical and financial skills, comprehensive and practical knowledge of building codes and regulations, as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
This would suit a team player who is passionate about the commercial property sector and wants to broaden and grow their career within a challenging and fast paced environment.
