The role
We are looking for a Retail Administration Assistant join the team at Karrinyup as part of a 12-month fixed-term contract to assist the Centre General Manager and Retail Team with the administration of the retail lease requirements for the Shopping Centre.
What you will be doing
- Assisting in the quarterly preparation of Gross Occupancy Cost (GOC) abatement calculations by entering data related to rent, outgoings, and audited sales. As well as assisting with managing accruals and forecasts for abatements.
- Working closely with the Centre management team to create positive experiences for our customers every day - through meticulous entry of operational tasks into ARC; maintaining a daily log, and conducting a weekly full site inspection walk.
- Liaising with and working together with our retailers to seek alignment on calculations and subsequent reconciliations.
- Assisting with retailer onboarding documentation and onboarding of new merchants into Karrinyup Shopping Centre.
- Supporting retailer events including briefing sessions, emergency training, town halls by coordinating bookings, catering, and drafting agendas.
- Acting as the key administrator for Centre SharePoint files, ensuring the folder structure in SharePoint is well-organized and maintained.
- Performing general administration tasks as delegated by the Centre General Manager and team.

This role would suit a natural communicator with strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the well-honed ability to juggle multiple competing priorities whilst being able to work collaboratively.
You will have experience using the Microsoft Office suite, love embedding continuous improvement initiatives into your work and thrive on building effective working relationships across the business. You will also be solution oriented and aspiring to grow your career within a leading real estate investment management company.
Having extensive experience in a coordination or administration role, within a commercial or retail environment, would be highly regarded in addition to exposure to software’s such as Anaplan and Salesforce.
