The role
We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join the team at the celebrated Macquarie Centre on a 6 month, fixed term basis.
With over 360 retailers, Macquarie Centre is more than a shopping centre—it’s a retail, dining and entertainment destination.
This role partners closely with the Centre team to support the Senior Marketing Manager develop and deliver the marketing strategy for the asset, ensuring alignment to the centre’s brand positioning.
A pivotal role within the Marketing Team, you will be driving performance through sales led and traffic propelling campaigns, communications and team leadership.
What you will be doing
- Supporting the Senior Marketing Manager in the development of the annual Marketing Strategy which underpins the broader Business Plan to drive traffic, sales and market share and developing and managing the annual marketing budget ensuring prudent expense management and accurate month end forecasting.
- Ensuring brand positioning and creative execution are in line with the strategic direction of Macquarie Centre and influence the behaviour of the centre’s key customer segments.
- Driving a centre activation schedule that positions the asset experience above competitors and enables high levels of retailer participation and customer engagement.
- Drawing analysis and insights from relevant research data to inform the team on opportunities and threats around market share, category performance, customer segments and retail trends.
- Developing campaigns which respond to market opportunities, that are on brand and that drive engagement across all platforms including in-precinct, website, social, mobile, targeted and segmented email marketing, Wi-Fi, SEO/SEM and online advertising.
- Planning and managing the content strategy including the execution and evaluation of content performance, ensuring that content is in line with current insights from digital & social analysis (e.g. Google Analytics, Social listening tools FB & Instagram) in order to evolve centre digital and social strategies.
- Working with the greater asset team, actively contribute to the delivery of the retailer engagement strategy at the asset to deliver an optimal retailer onboarding.

You are a Marketing Manager with proven experience in a similar role within retail, property or a consumer-facing environment, bringing a strong understanding of brand-led growth.
A creative and commercially minded thinker, you are skilled at translating consumer research and insights into compelling strategies and campaigns and confidently measuring and reporting on performance.
You are adept at managing multiple priorities, delivering projects within budget, and building strong, effective relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
With exceptional communication skills, sound digital and social capability, and the confidence to lead, influence and set direction, this fast-paced, hands-on role will suit a marketing generalist who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to continue developing their leadership capability.
