The role

 

Due to a recent promotion, we are currently seeking the services of a Marketing Executive to assist in the development and implementation of the asset marketing strategy for the celebrated Sunshine Plaza.

 

Sunshine Plaza is a retail, dining and entertainment destination in the heart of Maroochydore, it boasts over 300 specialty retailers, a bustling food precinct and cinema complex.

 

The key focus of the Marketing Team is to develop and implement marketing strategies that reflect the centre’s brand positioning, whilst also driving asset performance through the effective delivery of sales and traffic-driving campaigns and communications.  

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Assisting the Marketing team to develop the annual marketing plan and calendar for Sunshine Plaza, collaborating with the broader National Digital & Marketing to ensure alignment and then reviewing and tracking progress against the marketing plan and presenting updates to stakeholders as required
  • Delivering campaigns and events with particular emphasis on in-centre activations and events and then supporting post-campaign analysis including gathering retailer feedback, analysing sales performance and tracking of foot traffic / event attendance
  • Providing continuous updates for multi-channel information for all new and existing retailers, centre marketing campaigns and events and stakeholders on all relevant digital channels, as well as managing social channels to ensure up-to-date information and new content at all times.
  • Coordinating retailer specific initiatives and joint promotions to support key or new retailers, ensuring participation from retailers in relevant digital opportunities and centre based promotions/events.
  • Assisting in communicating key research and data insights from research to ensure opportunities are leveraged and reviewing and assisting in communicating a range of internal marketing reports.
  • General administration support as required including support the Centre Management team with new tenants and raising purchase orders and tracking expenditure through campaign budget tracking, as well as participating in the duty management roster for the centre.

 

 

What makes you stand out

 

As a Marketing Executive with prior experience in a similar role, you will have a good understanding of the latest marketing trends, preferably within the retail sector.

 

You will have the ability to identify key priorities, develop timelines and deliver initiatives on time and within budget and are able to build effective stakeholder relationships.

 

You will also need exceptional communication skills and have strong skills across Social media and other marketing platforms and experience
