The role

 

Are you a visionary leader ready to take the reins at one of Australia's best-performing shopping centres?

 

We are seeking a dynamic Centre General Manager to lead the iconic Melbourne Central – a landmark retail destination that has once again been crowned Australia’s most productive retail centre in the Big Guns 2025 by Shopping Centre News.

 

As the Centre General Manager, you will be responsible for steering the Melbourne Central Team to new heights. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning a high-performing asset team and key stakeholders to deliver a world-class customer experience, drive sustained sales growth, and maximise returns for shareholders.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to the centre team.
  • Maintaining and elevating Melbourne Central’s standing as Australia’s top-performing shopping destination.
  • Driving exceptional retail and customer experience outcomes as well as financial and commercial performance.
  • Overseeing operational excellence and tenant relationships, and contributing to leasing strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maximise customer visitation, tenant performance, and asset value.
  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a diverse team to deliver on key performance objectives.
