With responsibility for leading a team of four, the Group Manager will also provide expert advice to Board Committees, senior leaders and external providers, ensuring GPT maintains a proactive, risk-based safety culture that is robust, commercially aligned, and fit for purpose.
What you will be doing

- Provide leadership across both physical and psychological safety, including psychosocial risk management and compliance.
- Oversee GPT’s health and safety management system, policies, processes, audit framework and training programs.
- Prepare and present health and safety reports, insights, and risk updates to the Board, Board Committees, Leadership Team and governance forums.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure effective integration of safety practices across assets, developments and operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party providers, contractors and consultants to ensure safety standards are maintained enterprise-wide.
- Lead, develop and support the Health & Safety team, ensuring capability growth, high performance and consistent delivery.
What makes you stand out
Ideally, you are an experienced safety leader who knows how to operate at scale. With 10+ years in senior health and safety roles, you’ve led enterprise-wide programs across both physical and psychological safety. You bring strong commercial acumen, the confidence to engage at Board level, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
