The role
We’re looking for a driven and people-focused Sales Executive to join the GPT Space&Co team in a 12mth Fixed-term capacity to help businesses find premium, private workspaces and meeting rooms across our 10 top-tier locations in Melbourne.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to for generating and managing revenue across our meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, events, and membership offerings – with a focus on our flagship sites at 181 William, Queen & Collins, and 530 Collins. You'll take full ownership of meeting room and event sales, while also leading new revenue initiatives to help grow the business.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Space&Co, the Marketing & Customer Experience Team, and be a key player in the operations team, making sure that everything we do puts customer experience first – from first contact to event delivery.
What you will be doing
- Drive revenue and utilisation targets for meeting room and event bookings, with a focus on 181 William St, Queen & Collins, and 530 Collins St.
- Manage all sales enquiries across multiple channels with a fast response time (<1 hour), maintaining a strong pipeline and accurate listings across platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, agents, and partners to generate new business and drive creative sales opportunities.
- Support onboarding of new members, including tours, agreements, and custom services like catering and IT.
- Implement and contribute to marketing initiatives and monthly campaigns to support revenue growth.
- Prepare reports on leads, conversions, occupancy, and marketing performance; assist with forecasting and competitor analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date membership data, agreements, Salesforce records, and direct debit documentation.
- Support day-to-day operations during peak periods and team absences, ensuring smooth onboarding and high presentation standards.
- Attend and represent Space&Co at events to build awareness and support customer engagement.
- Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring every interaction reflects Space&Co’s premium experience from enquiry to exit.
What makes you stand out
We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of proven sales experience, particularly in new business generation, ideally within commercial property. A tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing is preferred. You’ll need to be a strong communicator (written, verbal, and presentation), with the ability to build relationships, prioritise effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team. A customer-first mindset, proactive approach, and solution-oriented thinking are essential for success in this role.
