The role

 

As the Capital Transactions Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Transactions and Direct Capital and the Capital Transactions Team, along with the Investment and Development Teams in achieving acquisition and divestment targets for the Group across all of our sectors.

 

A focus will be on significant funds management growth, new sector growth strategies and execution via acquisitions.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Financial modelling and scenario analysis of opportunities and all relevant market transactions including Retail, Office and Logistic sectors.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of major acquisition bids and tenders, and the presentation of investment and board papers.
  • Assisting in identifying and prioritising opportunities which meet the mandates of the Investment and Funds Management Portfolios.
  • Reviewing asset financials and preparing assets identified for divestment.
  • Managing key stakeholders including JV partners, investors, developers, landlords and external advisers.
  • Working closely with the Investment Management and Funds Management Teams to identify and analyse opportunities and make recommendations regarding assets and capital allocation.
  • Keeping up to date with trends and changes in the marketplace regarding all aspects of the property market.

 

What makes you stand out

 

To be successful in this position, you will require experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of major Australian property markets and a track record in detailed financial modelling for Office, Retail and/or Logistics investments and developments. This includes the proficient use of Microsoft Excel and financial modelling programs.

 

Successful candidates will have relevant tertiary qualifications with strong commercial acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applications from Certified Practising Valuers (CPV), will be held in high regard.
