The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Development Acquisition Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and acquiring prime logistics development opportunities, ensuring alignment with our strategic growth objectives.
You will play a key role in market research, site evaluation, financial modelling, and deal negotiation, working closely with internal stakeholders to assess feasibility and maximize value.
What you will be doing
- Identifying and acquiring new land opportunities (greenfield or brownfield) for large-scale development.
- Negotiating acquisitions, joint ventures, and development management agreements.
- Serving as the main contact for agents, landowners, and consultants regarding development opportunities.
- Coordinating purchase and development agreements with stakeholders, including legal and financial teams.
- Conducting due diligence, managing budgets, and overseeing feasibility studies for internal approvals.
- Supervising acquisitions, engaging consultants, and coordinating with investment teams for approvals and reporting.
What makes you stand out
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate acquisition, development, or investment, with experience in logistics/industrial, or commercial property.
A background in Development Management, Valuation, or Agency is highly desirable, along with expertise in Contract for Sale and Joint Venture Agreement negotiations. You will have strong financial modelling skills, development feasibility experience, and a proven ability to manage master planning approvals, major project bids, and stakeholder relationships.
Tertiary or valuation qualifications are a plus, as well as project management expertise. If you have a keen eye for detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive projects to success, we want to hear from you!
