The role

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join our Group Finance team. In this role, you will support the Group’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, while playing a key part in driving strategic decision-making across the business.

As a Senior Analyst, you will provide high-quality analytical support and commercial insights that guide leadership in making informed business decisions. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the Group to contribute to Investment Committee (IC) papers, evaluate strategic initiatives, and support a range of projects that impact business performance and long-term growth.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to apply their analytical skills to influence business strategy and performance.

 

What you will be doing

 

The principal tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Preparing forecast and budget deliverables
  • Actively managing relationships with Asset and Funds Finance, GMH, Group Finance, Treasury, Fund Analysts and Managers and CFO to ensure timely and accurate information for forecasts and budgets
  • Assisting in identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities in financial forecasts
  • Reviewing, advise and input on IC transaction papers as part of the FP&A review and sign-off
  • Performing Group & Fund financial modelling & scenario analysis including capital requirements, earnings drivers, transaction impacts, developments and other strategic initiatives
  • Preparing analysis for ad-hoc business requirements and requests

 

 

What makes you stand out

 

 

You will hold a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree and brings strong relationship-building and communication skills, allowing them to effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels of the business. Your high level of commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making will be an asset.

 

Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, enabling them to analyse complex data sets and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes with confidence and accuracy.

While not essential, experience in the property industry is highly regarded, as is the completion of a CA or CFA qualification, which would further support their technical expertise and understanding of financial principles in a commercial environment.
