The role 

 

In this varied and critical role, you will be responsible for mandate accounting, reporting and tax compliance. As an experienced Finance Manager, you will support the Financial Controller, Mandates with year-end statutory financial statements and board papers.

 

Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.

 

What you will be doing 

 

  • Reviewing monthly financial information for unit pricing and investor reporting.
  • Being the point of contact for Fund Managers and external investors for finance related queries.
  • Reviewing trust level journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reviewing distribution calculations and management fee calculations.
  • Preparing statutory financial statements.
  • Preparing accounting treatment memos for auditors.
  • Reviewing of quarterly statements of taxable income, annual tax returns and monthly BAS workings.
  • Special projects and ad hoc queries/reporting as required.


What makes you stand out

 

We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is currently CA or CPA qualified. A Big 4 background, coupled with industry experience will be held in high regard. You will be familiar with the principles and application of accounting standards (IFRS), and experience with SAP/HFM would be a big plus.

 

You will be a strong relationship builder, with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will be able to deliver to and manage tight deadlines, and have the ability to influence and interact with senior stakeholders across the business.
