The role
As Finance Manager, Mandates, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, tax compliance, and governance across a diverse portfolio of mandates including the Australian Core Retail Trust, QuadReal Logistics Trusts, and QuadReal Student and Accommodation.
Working closely with Fund Managers, investors, and auditors you will provide end-to-end financial reporting support, drive process improvements and bring clarity and confidence to complex accounting challenges.
What you will be doing
- Partnering with Fund Managers to deliver comprehensive financial reporting across multiple mandates.
- Leading the preparation and review of statutory accounts, board papers, and investor reports.
- Responding to audit queries and preparing accounting treatment memos.
- Managing tax compliance, including BAS, taxable income statements, and annual returns.
- Driving special projects and process improvements, standardising best practices across mandates.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering collaboration and excellence.
What makes you stand out
You will be a degree-qualified and CA/CPA accredited professional with relevant experience in accounting or professional services, ideally within the property or funds management sector. With strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting, you are confident navigating complex mandates and balancing competing priorities. Your ability to stay agile under pressure, coupled with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, enables you to deliver with accuracy and influence at all levels. Experience with systems such as SAP, Anaplan, or HFM will be highly regarded, but it is your blend of technical expertise, governance focus, and collaborative approach that will set you apart.
