The role

Join a high-performing investment management team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting across a growing Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) portfolio spanning Australia and New Zealand.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity where you'll work closely with the Fund Manager and key stakeholders across the business, contributing directly to the strategic objectives of the Mandate — ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful information drives smart investment decisions.

This is a collaborative, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Investment Management, Property Management, Finance, and Leasing — making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships across a diverse range of teams.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the coordination of investor updates, due diligence and Investment Committee (IC) materials, delivering accurate and timely responses to investor queries
  • Drive the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, and play an active role in budget and business planning processes
  • Own and maintain the Fund model, delivering high-quality transaction, capital management and valuation modelling
  • Contribute to the development of fund strategy and support Living-related M&A activity
  • Build and manage strong working relationships across Property Management, Treasury, Finance, Capital Transactions and Financial Planning & Analytics teams to advance Fund objectives
  • Partner with Treasury to model interest expense and debt impacts, and collaborate with the Fund team on valuations, leasing and other transactions
  • Manage external valuations and conduct internal tolerance checks in line with mandate requirements
  • Deliver investment, portfolio and competitor analysis, and maintain up-to-date sector research

What makes you stand out

You bring a degree in a relevant financial or property discipline, backed by 5–8 years of post-graduation experience in Funds Management, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance or Advisory, ideally with exposure to property.
