The role
Due to growth and volume of work, we are currently seeking a Fund Analyst to join GPT’s Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund (GWSCF) team.
This role forms an integral part of the GWSCF team, working closely senior members, to ensure the Fund meets investor and management requirements, executes on strategic objectives and optimises investment returns.
The role will also critically contribute to the analysis, modelling and reporting of investment performance for the Fund.
What you will be doing
- Attending to investors’ queries in a timely and accurate manner and maintain investor information calendar
- Preparing and coordinating information, communication and associated due diligence for investor updates, Board proposals and reports, quarterly, annual and half yearly reports
- Preparing presentations and materials required for investor engagement and for the Fund’s contribution to GPT results.
- Assisting in the creation and preparation of financial models and scenario analysis;
- Supporting the Fund Manager to prepare investment recommendations to investment committees and investors.
- Working with the GWSCF team to ensure that the investment process is truly research driven, drawing upon insights from the global and domestic market, to assist the Fund Manager to formulate a strategy for the portfolio which guides future investment decisions.
What makes you stand out
We are seeking a Fund Analyst with a degree in economics, finance, property or a related discipline with proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills both in written and verbal form.
This role requires someone who has well developed numeric and financial analysis skills, and can interpret data sets, identify meaningful insights and trends and articulate these findings in a clear and actionable.
This role would suit a pro-active Fund Analyst who takes accountability for delivering accurate and timely outputs, with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally and wishes to grow their career within a leading property investment company.
