The role
Are you passionate about using data to make a real-world difference? As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our sustainability goals by collecting, validating, analysing and reporting on critical environmental data. Your work will directly contribute to improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our environmental performance and reporting.
This is more than just a data role — you will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in areas such as energy, water, resource circularity and embedded networks. You will have exposure to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and environmental certification inventory management. You will be critical to our carbon accounting and performance reporting, helping to ensure the integrity of our environmental data from end to end.

- Capturing and managing environmental data – ensuring accurate and reliable data collection and maintenance
- Cleaning and quality-checking data – performing data cleansing and upholding high data quality standards
- Driving compliance and reporting – delivering on regulatory obligations with clear, timely reporting
- Uncovering insights – analysing performance data to generate actionable environmental insights
- Streamlining systems and processes – identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency
- Engaging stakeholders – building strong relationships and collaborating across teams
- Championing EMS standards – maintaining adherence to Environmental Management System requirements
- Contributing to specialist areas, including:
- Inventory control – overseeing renewable energy certificate tracking
- Geospatial data & GIS analytics – Leveraging mapping tools for spatial insights
What makes you stand out
We are looking for a motivated individual with a degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field. You will bring academic or project experience in data analysis, statistics, GIS, or sustainability, along with hands-on exposure to data handling through internships or part-time roles in business, utilities, or environmental sectors.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential, with familiarity in Power BI and Tableau. You will have a sharp eye for detail, be curious, have an analytical and logical mindset, and the ability to identify and communicate data trends and quality issues. Excellent communication skills, initiative, and a drive to learn will help you thrive in this role.
