The role

 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Finance for our Logistics division. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute the strategic vision for our Logistics Finance team, while driving excellence and innovation.

 

You will manage a diverse team overseeing all financial aspects of the logistics division, including performance control, budgeting, forecasting, operational and capital expenditure, KPI tracking, and feasibility analysis for our development pipeline.

 

This leadership position involves close collaboration with the Logistics Executive, senior leadership, the Finance team, asset owners, and external stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis to drive portfolio performance. You will play a critical role in advising key stakeholders, ensuring they have the information needed to make informed decisions and optimise returns for the portfolio.

What you will be doing 

 

  • Partnering with Head of Logistics to provide finance support for strategy execution, including growth, transactions, and optimisation.
  • Developing and implementing operational plans to support Group and finance strategy.
  • Maintaining financial control over all aspects of the Logistics segment’s financial performance.
  • Promoting a data-driven culture to identify business value-adds.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and leading the Logistics Finance team.
  • Overseeing the quality and production of required reporting.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely development feasibilities in line with agreed milestones.
  • Monitoring Logistics performance against Management Agreements and profitability targets.
  • Overseeing governance, audit, and risk management processes.

 

What makes you stand out

 

We are seeking an experienced professional with relevant tertiary qualifications, coupled with a CA or CPA professional membership. Big 4 experience will be held in high regard. You will have substantial experience in property finance, demonstrating leadership in high-performing and complex business environments.

 

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships and showcasing excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Your ability to manage and lead a team effectively will be crucial, as well as your keen commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

 

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across various teams and disciplines. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential in this role.
