You’ll be involved in the day-to-day delivery of information security operations, support a range of project initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to align outcomes with GPT’s risk appetite, compliance requirements, and due diligence obligations.
What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities:
The principal tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining awareness of emerging threats, compliance, and regulatory obligations.
- Implementing and continuously improve information security strategies, technologies, and policies.
- Leading security-by-design reviews and guide secure solution development.
- Managing core security platforms and monitor vulnerability, access, and incident activities.
- Supporting incident response, investigations, and regular security testing initiatives.
- Coordinating compliance, audit, and third-party risk assessment activities.
- Promoting security awareness, provide expert guidance, and stay informed on industry trends.
What makes you stand out
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in information security with a solid understanding of security operations, ITIL practices, and tools such as SIEM and Data Loss Prevention. Demonstrated knowledge of risk management and vulnerability management frameworks, along with the ability to analyse and mitigate security risks and define processes for network security. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead security initiatives collaboratively.
