The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure & Technology Operations Manager to take ownership of the platforms that the entire organisation runs on. You'll set the standard for how those platforms are delivered, operated and continuously improved, ensuring they are resilient, secure, scalable and cost-effective. Beyond core infrastructure, you'll also lead the technology function behind our flexible workspace offerings, bringing the same enterprise-grade standards to a commercially significant and growing part of the business.

What you will be doing

  • Lead design, delivery and operation of core infrastructure across networks, compute, storage, cloud, identity, EUC and collaboration
  • Drive cloud adoption, platform modernisation and automation while maintaining business continuity, disaster recovery and compliance
  • Manage service delivery across internal teams and external vendors, holding managed-service partners accountable to contracts and SLAs
  • Oversee risk, capacity, utilisation and cost management across infrastructure operations
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead the Flexible Workspaces technology function across a multi-site portfolio
  • Cover network, physical security, access control, AV, visitor experience and EUC support aligned to enterprise standards
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical infrastructure and cloud solutions
  • Operate within and contribute to established governance and standards frameworks
  • Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture

What makes you stand out

You will bring deep infrastructure and cloud expertise across enterprise platforms, with hands-on experience leading service delivery, resilience and compliance while governing complex, multi-site environments.

You will have experience across:

  • Infrastructure operations, cloud platforms and technology service management
  • Cloud environments, primarily AWS with Microsoft Azure (IaaS), including monitoring, observability and automation tooling such as CloudWatch and SolarWinds
  • Enterprise infrastructure domains including networks (SD-WAN, VPN), identity (Entra ID / Azure AD, AD Connect), compute and storage
  • Workplace and collaboration platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Infrastructure leadership spanning service delivery, resilience, DR, business continuity, risk and compliance, with security embedded throughout
  • Physical security, access control, AV and multi-site customer-facing environments, with the ability to govern and assure delivery at scale
