The role
As Insurance Analyst, you will partner with Corporate and Asset-based stakeholders to provide operational and administrative support to the Insurance function on all insurance-related matters.
You will work closely with insurance management, broker and the business to provide insurance support and optimise performance of the insurance function.
You will work with the insurance management to ensure GPT's insurance program is effectively managed, risks are appropriately mitigated, and compliance standards are maintained across all assets and entities, while implementing efficiencies to streamline responsibilities and deliverables.
Working across diverse internal teams and with external brokers and insurers, you will play a key role in protecting and managing risk across the business.
What you will be doing
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Insurance function, including responding to insurance-related queries and providing guidance across all of GPT's insurances.
- Support the review of supplier and tenant insurance requirements to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and GPT standards.
- Assist with preparation of insurance renewal documents including insurer questionnaires, presentations and prospectus documents.
- Maintain all insurance policies and documentation on GPT's SharePoint, and distribute Certificates of Currency and insurance documentation as required.
- Assist with day-to-day broker/insurer relationships, including claims management and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and review escrow accounts managed and maintained by the insurance broker.
- Support preparation and drafting of papers and other materials as required.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects including risk analysis and process improvement.
