The role - 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT
We are seeking a Learning & Organisational Development Consultant to design and deliver organisational capability initiatives that strengthen individual and collective performance across GPT. Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, you will create long-term value for our people, customers and stakeholders spanning needs analysis, learning design and delivery, vendor management and specialist consulting across a range of business needs.
Partnering closely with business stakeholders and the broader People team, you will ensure solutions are practical, impactful and aligned to our organisational priorities building a high-performing workforce that is adaptive, capable and prepared for the future. You will also work closely with the Learning & Development Coordinator.
What you will be doing
- Designing and delivering capability solutions: diagnosing organisational needs and designing and delivering programs across the full capability spectrum, applying contemporary learning design principles including blended, digital and experiential approaches.
- Facilitating with credibility: leading engaging and interactive workshops and learning sessions, both virtually and face to face, across all levels of the organisation.
- Partnering with stakeholders: building trusted relationships with leaders and teams to diagnose capability needs, co-design solutions and support implementation as a credible L&OD partner.
- Managing projects and programs: leading multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines, developing project plans, managing budgets and engaging vendors to deliver on time and within scope.
- Evaluating and improving impact: measuring program effectiveness using appropriate metrics and feedback, and continuously refining design and delivery.
- Driving innovation: overseeing relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions, and staying abreast of emerging L&OD research and trends.
What makes you stand out
You are an experienced L&OD professional with strong consulting and partnering skills, able to work with a broad range of stakeholders to understand needs and create high-value solutions. You bring solid knowledge of adult learning principles and a track record of developing and delivering L&OD content at all levels from people leader development through to soft skill and technical skill development.
You facilitate with confidence and credibility, communicate with clarity and influence across all audience levels, and bring a strategic and adaptive mindset connecting initiatives to broader organisational priorities while anticipating and pivoting as needs shift. You are a capable project manager with proven ability to lead initiatives from conception through to execution and evaluation, and you are proficient in analysing data to generate insights. Experience with HRIS and LMS management (SuccessFactors desirable) will be highly valued.
