The role
We are looking for a Manager, Property Services to deliver the procurement and performance management of Property Services (soft) across GPT’s managed portfolio, ensuring services are effectively scoped, commercially optimised and aligned to GPT Policy.
This role drives supplier performance, fosters innovation and delivers measurable improvements in service quality, efficiency and customer experience across all asset classes
What you will be doing
- Leading the national tendering, supplier selection and contracting for all soft services in adherence with competitive tendering frameworks, with a focus on value, scalability, and risk.
- Implementing national soft services strategies, consistent scopes of work and clearly defined SLAs that meet the specific needs of each asset and asset class.
- Implementing and maintaining GPT procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all procurement activities.
- Establishing and enforcing SLAs/KPIs, act as the point of escalation for non-conformance and non-compliance and driving continuous improvement across all portfolios.
- Delivering cost efficiencies through aggregation, benchmarking, commercial analysis of tender submissions and financial modelling of soft services agreements (budgeting, forecasting and growth rates)
- Building and maintaining key relationships with service providers, and partner with asset management, property management and tenants to align service delivery with asset strategies.
- Align soft services delivery with experience outcomes, incorporating ESG and placemaking initiatives into service delivery.
- Providing leadership, training and mentoring to build internal capability in contract and contractor management.
What makes you stand out
You will have relevant procurement related qualifications and significant experience in procurement of property or technical services combined with strong and practical understanding of supplier management, contracts and contractor management, risk management and building codes and regulations.
Highly organised, you will be able to juggle multiple programs of work effectively and be able to prioritise, analysis risk and problem solve.
A critical thinker with exceptional communication skills, you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
We are seeking a commercially astute, self starter with a sound understanding of building operating technologies the ability to manage highly confidential information discreetly and wants to work for a leading property investment company.
