The role

 

We have an exciting 12month fixed-term contract opportunity for a Portfolio Finance Manager to join our Logistics Finance team. Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the Portfolio Finance Manager plays an integral role within the Logistics Finance team, delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse and dynamic portfolio of assets.

 

In this position, you will lead a talented team of Property Finance Analysts, driving excellence in financial reporting while providing meaningful, value-added insights. You will work closely with operational stakeholders as a trusted business partner, supporting the development and execution of their strategic and operational plans to maximise the performance of their assets.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Lead, mentor and coach a team of Property Finance Analysts to deliver on operational objectives
  • Provide training and guidance to site teams on financial processes, systems and data management
  • Monthly financial and management reporting, including variance analysis and review presentations
  • Annual budgeting, monthly/quarterly reforecasts and long-term forecasts
  • Half year and full year external financial reporting, including data packs, Q&A disclosures and debtor analysis
  • Owner and portfolio budget/forecast reports and presentations
  • Long-term asset performance modelling and scenario analysis
  • Outgoings budget preparation and washup reconciliation
  • Own the end-to-end valuation process, including coordinating input data, challenging valuer outputs and engaging business partners to ensure accuracy of all assumptions
  • Preparation and submission of valuation data packs for your portfolio of assets

 

What makes you stand out

 

To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant degree (Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent) and be CA/CPA qualified. You will bring proven real estate and property experience, which is essential for this position, along with demonstrated team management and leadership capabilities. You will possess strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. You are highly detail-oriented, able to use your initiative and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also required to excel in this role.
