The role
We’re seeking a Property Finance Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our Office Asset Finance team. Reporting to the Portfolio Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse portfolio of assets, more specifically, Liberty Place.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the core finance operations supporting asset management activities. You’ll provide accurate, timely, and meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
What you will be doing
The principal tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare month-end financials, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Deliver monthly management reports with variance analysis and present to asset teams
- Liaise with external managers on reporting and trial balance uploads
- Support statutory disclosures (related parties, capital commitments, lease receivables)
- Prepare tenant budgets, outgoings statements, and wash-up calculations with audit support
- Maintain and update Anaplan models and forecasts for income, expenses, and capex
- Assist with internal and external budget and forecast presentations
- Compile valuation packs and assist with posting revaluations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
- Manage debt arrears reporting and support bad debt risk assessments
What makes you stand out
You will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, with excellent communication and analytical skills. A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and initiative is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
A relevant degree such as a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) is desirable, and CA/CPA qualification or progress toward it is highly regarded.
Experience with systems such as SAP, Anaplan, HFM/Oracle, and Tableau will be considered an advantage.
