The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Finance Analyst to join our Logistics Finance team.

Reporting to the Portfolio Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse portfolio of logistics assets. As an integral member of the Finance team, you will provide accurate, timely and insightful financial information that supports effective asset management and informed business decision-making.

Working at the heart of the portfolio's finance operations, you will contribute to a broad range of asset management finance activities while helping to ensure compliance with statutory and reporting requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to build their property and asset management finance expertise within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare month-end financial reporting, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting with insightful variance analysis.
  • Partner with Asset Management teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and support decision-making.
  • Assist with statutory reporting requirements, including related party disclosures, capital commitments, lease accounting, and debtor reporting.
  • Manage tenant outgoings processes, including budgeting, wash-ups, accrual calculations, and audit support.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities through the maintenance of financial models, leasing forecasts, operating expense analysis, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budget and forecast presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare valuation packs and support the processing of investment property valuations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

 

What makes you stand out

 

This is a role that requires strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, coupled with a highly analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail. You will be able to manage competing priorities and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with a relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. You will also be CA or CPA qualified or currently working towards completion of your professional accreditation.
