The role

 

This is a fantastic time to join GPT in a new role as a Regional Operations Manager within our Retail portfolio.

Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Regional Operations Manager to play an integral part in the achievement of operational excellence and ensure consistency of operational delivery across the GPT multiple assets within the Retail portfolio.

 

The key objectives include determining strategies and procedures to ensure assets are maintained to superior standard, achieving desired customer and tenant satisfaction levels, ensuring safety is central to what the team does and meeting sustainability goals. 

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Ensuring optimal safety management practices are applied – covering legal, compliance, consistency and ongoing review of operational systems across the Retail business.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of on-boarding programs to ensure operational excellence
  • Monitoring operational performance and developing performance enhancement plans and then measuring operational performance through auditing, testing and sampling.
  • Supporting the Portfolio Operations Manager and the Crisis Management team with major incidents and or emergencies where required (planning, preparedness and response).
  • Assisting with maintaining a comprehensive body of policies and standards related to building services delivery and provide a clear operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Working across Retail teams to identify and deliver on team member development plans and training objectives and develop the technical and soft skills of the team.
  • Leading with the development and review of operating expense budgets to ensure financial objectives and strategies are delivered and assisting with the management of inputs into the capital forecasting process with Retail Capex team members.
  • Ensuring appropriate contract management processes are in place to manage, monitor and report upon operational effectiveness.
  • Assisting in the management of sustainability/NABERS improvement programs.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador /business leader for GPT Property Operations both within GPT and externally via an extended stakeholder group that consists of tenants, industry peers and industry.

 

What makes you stand out

 

This is a senior role that requires a seasoned facilities/operations manager who has experience across multiple assets and with leading, guiding and motivating geographically dispersed teams.

 

You will have had experience in managing multi- site programs of work and be able to manage and report on budgets.

 

You will be able to communicate to and manage effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders groups and have sound experience in contracts and risk management.
