The role

 

We are seeking a highly driven and results oriented Research Manager to play an important role in the company's research initiatives to join our Sydney based team. 

 

The focus of the role is, through collaboration, delivery of thought provoking and comprehensive research which informs GPT’s investment strategy and supports investor engagement.

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Conducting in-depth research on property markets, industry trends, and global economic factors affecting the real estate sector; and translate findings to business opportunities and outputs relevant to GPT.
  • Building and maintaining in-house frameworks and databases which provide strategic business intelligence, using various sources and tools.
  • Writing and structuring high-quality research reports, articles, presentations and market updates, which highlight key insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborating with the respective sectors, capital transactions, investor relations functions and other teams across the Group to disseminate research findings
  • Participating in client meetings and stakeholder engagements to share insights.
  • Monitoring and analysing industry and global trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks, as well as staying current with developments research methodologies.
  • Developing forecasts and predictive models to support strategic planning and decision- making.

You will be a motivated and talented research professional from within the real estate, investment management or research industries with a solid understanding of property markets, related industry dynamics and macro trends.

 

You will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively and have a proven track record creating and publishing high-quality research.

 

With excellent written and verbal communication skills and relationship management skills, you will be able to consult with the business to generate innovative research ideas and content.
