The role 

 

This position plays a critical role within the GPT Wholesale Office Fund (GWOF) team, working in close partnership with the Fund Manager, Deputy Fund Manager, and Fund Analyst to support the delivery of strategic objectives, meet investor and governance requirements, and optimise investment performance. The role also involves collaboration with the broader business and, when required, acting as a representative of the Fund Manager in key stakeholder engagements.

 

What you will be doing 

 

Fund Performance, Investment and Portfolio Analysis

  • Maintaining and updating the Fund model with accurate investment data, incorporating asset management cashflows, capex, and valuation assumptions to track returns.
  • Conducting modelling and scenario analysis for transactions, capital management, and fund performance against benchmarks.

 

Investor Communication and Reporting (Supporting the Fund Analyst)

  • Coordinating timely investor communications, including queries, quarterly reports, and updates.
  • Preparing and maintaining fund templates, calendars, and reports for internal, board, and industry use, supporting due diligence and standardised reporting.

 

Strategy and Forecasts

  • Contributing to annual strategy reviews, including competitor analysis and preparation of strategy papers.
  • Collaborating with FP&A to deliver interim and annual forecasts for corporate reporting.

 

Operations

  • Supporting asset managers to enhance property and leasing performance and ensuring robust valuation processes.
  • Attending key internal meetings (e.g., PCGs, ERGs, quarterly updates) to keep fund models and data current.

 

Board and Investors

  • Preparing reports and funding requests for IC, Board, and IRC meetings, and attending these meetings and investor events as required.

 

What makes you stand out

 

Ideally, you will bring a background in Funds Management, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, or Advisory—paired with solid property sector insight.

 

Candidates who have completed or are currently undertaking the CFA program will be highly regarded. Advanced Excel modelling skills are essential.
