We are seeking a driven and strategic Senior Development Finance Manager to join our high-performing Logistics Development Finance team. This leadership role will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering the financial strategy for our logistics development portfolio, working in close partnership with key stakeholders across the Development, Corporate, and Asset teams.
In this role, you will lead a team of Development Analysts and Development Finance Managers, guiding them to provide analytical rigor, financial oversight, and strategic insight across all logistics development projects.
What you will be doing
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of Development Analysts and Finance Managers to support logistics development strategy.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of development feasibilities, capex forecasts, cost-to-complete schedules, and investment papers.
- Building strong relationships with Development, Asset, and Corporate stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across development finance systems and processes, including Anaplan.
- Providing financial insights and support for budgets, forecasts, asset plans, and investor reporting.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and assisting with internal and external audit requirements.
What makes you stand out
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field, and bring proven experience leading high-performing finance teams. Strong commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop trusted relationships across various stakeholder groups are essential. You will be confident in managing complex development feasibilities, possess strong analytical and Excel modelling skills, and be adept at balancing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
A background in development analysis, particularly within logistics or property, will be highly advantageous. In addition, you will bring a mindset of continuous improvement and the ability to drive strategic outcomes across finance operations. Proficiency in key financial systems is also important; experience with platforms such as SAP, Estate Master, Anaplan, HFM/Oracle, and Tableau will be highly regarded, as these tools are central to our planning, reporting, and analysis processes.
