What you will be doing

The principal tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with external property managers and finance teams to review monthly reporting, upload external trial balances and forecasts, and support statutory disclosures including related parties, capital commitments, aged debtors and lease receivables.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting, including posting income, expense and capital accruals and prepayments, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing monthly management reports with variance analysis presented to the asset team
  • Preparing tenant budget statements, manage tenant outgoings wash-ups and accruals, and produce tenant outgoings statements and audit review workbooks.
  • Updating budgeting and forecasting models in Anaplan, including leasing forecasts, operating expenses, capital expenditure and tenant outgoings, and assist with forecast and budget presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparing valuation packs, assist with posting investment property revaluations, and support team development through coaching, mentoring, training initiatives and fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture alongside the Portfolio Finance Manager.
