The role

We have an exciting 12month fixed-term contract opportunity for a Senior Property Finance Analyst to join our Logistics Finance team. Reporting to the Portfolio Finance Manager, you will play a key role within the Finance team, delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse asset portfolio.

As part of a central Asset Management finance function, you will provide accurate, timely, and insightful information to support effective decision-making and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

Working closely with the Portfolio Finance Manager, you will also mentor and support junior team members while taking ownership of all reporting and analysis activities for your assigned portfolio.

What you will be doing

  • Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare monthly management reports with clear variance analysis for presentation to the asset team.
  • Liaise with external property managers and finance teams, reviewing reporting inputs, trial balances, and supporting statutory disclosures.
  • Prepare tenant budget statements, manage outgoings wash-ups and accruals, and deliver tenant outgoings statements and audit workpapers.
  • Maintain and update budgeting and forecasting models (Anaplan), including leasing, operating expenses, capital expenditure, and outgoings forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of forecast and budget presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support valuation processes through preparation of valuation packs and posting revaluations.
  • Contribute to team development by coaching and mentoring junior members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Drive process improvements, respond to stakeholder requests, and provide scenario analysis to support asset performance and decision-making.
  • Oversee debt arrears reconciliation and reporting, including management of bad and doubtful debts and associated risks.

What makes you stand out

You hold a relevant degree (such as a Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent) and bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and analyse complex information. You are an enthusiastic learner with a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the confidence to use your initiative. You can effectively manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, supported by advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
