The role
The Senior Treasury Analyst is a front-office role sitting at the centre of GPT's funding and capital markets activity. This position plays an integral role in supporting the execution of debt transactions across bilateral, syndicated and debt capital markets, as well as capital transactions encompassing acquisition and joint venture financing across the GPT balance sheet and its managed funds.
What you will be doing
Transaction Execution & Capital Markets
- Support the execution of funding transactions across bank and debt capital markets, including new facilities, refinancings, syndications and acquisition financing, and coordinate transaction workstreams with banks, legal counsel and internal deal teams through to financial close.
- Review investment papers and financial models, assessing the impact of proposed transactions on GPT and fund credit metrics.
Financial Risk & Analysis
- Deliver Treasury metrics analytics across GPT and its managed funds, including headroom and sensitivity analysis, and monitor debt maturity profiles and refinancing requirements against Treasury Policy.
- Contribute to rating agency engagement through credit metric analysis and supporting materials.
Board, Investor & Stakeholder Reporting
- Prepare Board, ARC and IC treasury materials, including meaningful analysis and commentary beyond data production.
- Deliver the Quarterly Treasury Report and fund investor reporting
What makes you stand out
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, and bring at least five years of experience in treasury, finance or investment analysis. A background in real estate, funds management or banking would be highly regarded.
