The role
We are looking for a Treasury Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, the Treasury Manager plays a key role within the Treasury team, overseeing debt funding requirements for The GPT Group and its funds across both bank and debt capital markets. The role involves collaborating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, while providing strategic advice and insights to support business and management decision-making.
What you will be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing funding requirements for The GPT Group and Funds including analysis, negotiation and documentation
- Assisting with credit rating analysis and engagement with the rating agencies
- Providing advice to the business on transactions and developments across the portfolio
- Staying abreast of current market trends and contribute to treasury risk management and funding strategies
- Managing the Group’s sustainable debt framework and providing pro-active funding recommendations
- Assisting the Treasurer with key stakeholder relationships including banks, rating agencies and debt investors
- Understand and cover other treasury team members’ roles as required; and
- Negotiation and document ISDA agreements with hedging counterparties
What makes you stand out
You bring a passion for financial markets and are motivated to drive value in a dynamic environment. With over five years of experience in corporate treasury or institutional/corporate banking, you hold a degree in accounting, finance, or law and have a solid understanding of financial market products within a corporate treasury context. You are familiar with loan and ISDA documentation, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You approach challenges with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on innovative solutions, while maintaining close attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger strategic picture.
